Taking the Interview: A Step-by-Step Guide

This guide will walk you through each stage of the PolygrAI interview process so you know exactly what to do.

Step 1 Welcome

When you first open the interview link you will see a welcome screen. This screen will tell you the name of the company that sent you the interview and how many questions you will be asked.

Click Begin to start the setup process.

Step 2 Camera and Microphone Setup

Your browser will prompt you for permission to use your camera and microphone. Click Allow to grant access.

You will see a video feed of yourself. Make sure your face is centered in the frame. When you are aligned an Im Aligned button will appear. Click it to continue.

Step 3 Audio Check

A sample audio clip will play so you can confirm you can hear the questions. Once you hear it clearly click Done to proceed.

Step 4 Final Instructions

The final setup screen provides a brief overview of the process. Click I Understand to begin the interview proper.

Step 5 The Interview

A question will appear on the screen and be read aloud to you.

• Take a moment to think about your answer

• Speak clearly into your microphone

• Click Done when you have finished answering

You can click Back to return to the previous question and re record your answer if needed. You may only go back one question at a time.

Step 6 Uploading Your Interview

After the final question your recording will stop and the upload will begin. A progress bar will show you the upload status. Please do not close your browser window while the upload is in progress.

Step 7 All Done

When the upload is complete you will see a Thank You message. You have now completed the interview and can safely close the window. You will receive an email with a link to your recorded response shortly.
